About Us
Killer K8
I started going to neighborhood haunts when I was a kid, and theme park haunts as soon as I could drive. I cut my teeth on the horror films of the early 2000’s, so I will always be a slasher girl at heart. But really, my love of the holiday started with trick-or-treat and dressing up multiple times per year with the help of my mom.
Favorite Haunted Attraction: Knott’s Scary Farm, Buena Park CA (the Pumpkin Eater maze is my fav!)
Favorite Scary Movie: Scream
Biggest Fear: Abandonment; Where my daddy issue girlies at!?
What horror film cliché would be the reason you die? “Jump-scare fake out” trope - I would definitely get too excited to be alive after a big jump scare only for the real threat to be waiting…
Dreadful Danny
My love of haunts started all the way back as a child. I have very strong memories of my Mom taking me and friends to Halloween Horror Nights Orlando and just falling in love with watching her FREAK OUT at all the jump scares. I prefer sci-fi horror/action horror, it is pretty consistently the blend of my favorite film styles with a lot of timeless franchises in there for me to re-watch year after year.
Favorite Haunted Attraction: Dark Harbor (RIP!) but as far as one currently running....Shaqtoberfest (Queen Mary, Long Beach, CA)
Favorite Scary Movie: Underworld
Biggest Fear: Subdermal Insects; We can thank The Mummy for this specific and niche fear
What horror film cliche would be the reason you die? Sadly, I just don't have final boi energy. I would just succumb to being the character that obviously isn't gonna make it.

We will always write up a detailed account of our full experience which will include photos and/or videos, and we will always be honest about our experience. All opinions are our own! Given Kaitlyn and Danny's distinct approaches to haunting, each write-up will showcase a unique perspective. Depending on your preferences, one viewpoint might resonate more profoundly. We hope our experiences can serve as a valuable resource for both novices of the eerie and seasoned spooky enthusiasts alike.
We will review both the overall haunted attraction as well as individual houses/mazes/scare zones on a scale out of 5. We also want to provide a TLDR at the bottom of each post for those that aren’t as interested in the nitty gritty details and just want the scores.

We are located in Los Angeles, so we primarily haunt Southern California. But we love to travel, so you never know where we will end up next!

Yes! We are both vegan, so we will weigh in on the vegan options available, themed drinks, spooky themed events, road trips and date ideas.
